All of this applies to the communication and expression of emotions.
If we do not honestly express our feelings, others cannot know where they stand. Thus they are unable to make decisions which are in their best interests.
Not only does honest expression of feelings help others, but also it helps us build close relationships, since few people want to associate with those who can’t or won’t express their true intentions.
